Cuisine American
- 1 10 ounce bag peanut butter chips
- 1 ½ cups peanut butter
- 1 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
- ½ cup walnuts rough chopped
- Optional: Flaked or regular sea salt for topping
Line an 8x8 or 9x9 pan with parchment paper and set aside.
Add the peanut butter chips, peanut butter and sweetened condensed milk to a medium sauce pan. Heat on medium heat until all of the peanut butter chips have melted. Stir occasionally, more as the chips start to melt. Approximately 3-5 minutes.
Once the peanut butter chips have melted, stir well, remove the pan from the heat and stir in the walnuts.
Pour the fudge into the prepared pan. It will be thick. Use a spatula to press down and even out the fudge. Alternatively, you can place a piece of parchment paper over the top and use your fingers to press down and even out the fudge after it has cooled enough to touch.
Cover and refrigerate for one to two hours until set. Once the fudge has set, remove it from the pan and cut into squares. Optional: sprinkle a little flaked or regular sea salt on top.
For a harder texture, refrigerate the cut peanut butter fudge squares until it's time to serve. For a softer texture, store at room temperature in an airtight container.
