About

As a military spouse for many years, I've had a lot of different jobs in a lot of different fields. I've worked everywhere from Fortune 500 companies down to very small legal offices and from the federal government down to county level government. So why a food blog now? It combines some of my favorite past jobs of baking, writing and photography. I will say photographing food is a lot harder than people, believe it or not!

What kind of recipes will you find here? I come from a long line of home bakers, and desserts have always been my specialty. I will never pass up making (or eating!) desserts for special occasions. But in everyday life, I hardly eat any added sugar. So you'll also find a bunch of easy and healthy everyday recipes that I make to feed myself and my family too.

So grab a cup of coffee or pour a glass of wine, and let's take our baking and everyday healthy cooking to the next level!

Hi, I'm Tracy! I'm a baker, photographer and writer who specializes in desserts for special occasions as well as everyday healthy recipes. I'm so happy you're here! More about me
