White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Bars are a chewy, buttery blondie bar that combines the crunch of macadamia nuts and the creaminess of white chocolate.

- ½ cup salted butter softened
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup white sugar
- 1 egg room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1¼ cups all purpose flour (150 g)
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt (omit if nuts are salted)
- 4 ounce white chocolate bar roughly chopped
- ¾ cup macadamia nuts roughly chopped
Take out the butter and egg to bring them to room temperature.
Preheat the oven to 325°. Line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper or spray with cooking spray.
Add flour, baking powder and salt to a small bowl and set it aside
Chop white chocolate and macadamia nuts and set aside.
Combine butter, white sugar and brown sugar in mixer and cream until thoroughly combined.
Add the egg and vanilla to the sugar mixture and mix until combined.
Add the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
Fold in the white chocolate and macadamia nuts.
Bake at 325° for 28-32 minutes Check at 28 minutes. I usually bake mine for 30 minutes.
