Four stacked Chopped White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Bars

There is just something magical about the combination of white chocolate and macadamia nuts! And putting them in a blondie bar = perfection! These white chocolate macadamia nut bars are an easy crowd pleaser.

Chopped White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Bars

I love blondie bars so much. They're such a versatile dessert bar and always delicious. One of my favorite mix-in combinations for blondie bars is white chocolate and macadamia nuts. They're a classic combination and one of my husband's favorite, and the combination fits perfectly with the chewy structure of a blondie bar. So whenever I want to combine white chocolate and macadamia nuts, I always make these bars.

Ingredient Info

Gather all the ingredients and chop the chocolate and macadamia nuts into equal size pieces.

Variations

There are so many great ways to add different mix-ins to these blondie bars. You can really do any combination of mix-ins, but limit the total amount of mix ins to 1 and ½ cups. Here are a few other options:

  • Dark chocolate and macadamia nuts, hazelnuts or another favorite nut
  • White chocolate and cashews, pistachios or another favorite nut
  • Any chocolate with dried fruit such as dried cherries, cranberries or apricots
  • Macadamia nuts with dried figs
  • Pistachios or cashews with dried apricots

Equipment

No special equipment is needed for these bars. You can use a regular mixer, stand up mixer or even just a spatula.

Storage

Store in air tight container at room temperature for up for 4 days or in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.

Next level tips

  • I love taking blondie bars to the lake or a potluck. They are not messy and you can cut them into as little of pieces as you want.
  • You can substitute about ¾ cups of white chocolate chips for the white chocolate bar, but I highly recommend the white chocolate bar. The bars are usually less expensive than a bag of white chocolate chips, and they're usually a higher level of quality.
  • If you don't already have one, buy a kitchen scale and weigh the flour. It's actually easier than measuring and flours do have different weights. Usually, a serving of flour is ¼ cup. This recipe calls for 1 and ¼ cups of flour. So take a serving of the flour that you use and multiple by 5. I use Costco's organic all-purpose flour any time that I use all-purpose flour.
