Four ingredients

- Peanut butter chips
- Peanut butter
- Sweetened condensed milk
- Walnuts
See recipe card for quantities.
Substitutions
- Gluten free - these are naturally gluten free, so no substitutions are necessary.
- Peanut butter - I use regular creamy peanut butter, but you could also use crunchy peanut butter for a little extra texture or natural peanut butter. If you are using natural peanut butter, make sure it is stirred well before adding it.
- Nuts - you could substitute peanuts or another nut of your choice. Don't be afraid of walnuts though, they are a great all-purpose nut. I always have walnuts on hand as I eat them daily for breakfast in my berry yogurt parfait. They also add texture to my Carmelitas and Peppernut cookies.

Three ingredient Peanut Butter Fudge
You have a few options for three ingredient peanut butter fudge:

- Use 2 bags of peanut butter chips plus condensed milk and walnuts
- Use 3 cups of peanut butter plus condensed milk and walnuts
Two ingredient Peanut Butter Fudge
For two ingredient peanut butter fudge, you have two options:
- Use 2 bags of peanut butter chips plus condensed milk
- Use 3 cups of peanut butter plus condensed milk
Equipment
A regular sauce pan is needed to make peanut butter fudge.

Storage
If you like a softer texture, store the fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 7 days. However, if you like a harder texture, store it in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks.
Next Level Tips
- Peanut butter fudge is a great, last minute dessert. But it's also perfect for cookie exchanges and little gifts too.
- I like to sprinkle a small amount of flaked sea salt on top. It gives the fudge another layer of flavor and added visual texture.
- You can also add one teaspoon of vanilla when you add the walnuts for another layer of flavor.
FAQ
Using both peanut butter chips and peanut butter gives the fudge an extra layer of flavor. Also, using only peanut butter chips can be very sweet and also expensive. And using only peanut butter can have a texture that is a little too soft. But, if you only want to use one of the two, see the above sections titled two ingredient peanut butter fudge and three ingredient peanut butter fudge for some options.

Peanut Butter Fudge with Condensed Milk
Equipment
- 1 medium sauce pan
Ingredients
- 1 10 ounce bag peanut butter chips
- 1 ½ cups peanut butter
- 1 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
- ½ cup walnuts rough chopped
- Optional: Flaked or regular sea salt for topping
Instructions
- Line an 8x8 or 9x9 pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- Add the peanut butter chips, peanut butter and sweetened condensed milk to a medium sauce pan. Heat on medium heat until all of the peanut butter chips have melted. Stir occasionally, more as the chips start to melt. Approximately 3-5 minutes.
- Once the peanut butter chips have melted, stir well, remove the pan from the heat and stir in the walnuts.
- Pour the fudge into the prepared pan. It will be thick. Use a spatula to press down and even out the fudge. Alternatively, you can place a piece of parchment paper over the top and use your fingers to press down and even out the fudge after it has cooled enough to touch.
- Cover and refrigerate for one to two hours until set. Once the fudge has set, remove it from the pan and cut into squares. Optional: sprinkle a little flaked or regular sea salt on top.
- For a harder texture, refrigerate the cut peanut butter fudge squares until it's time to serve. For a softer texture, store at room temperature in an airtight container.
