Everything Bagel Cheeseball is everything you love about a classic cheeseball but crusted with everything bagel seasoning! It's crunchy, nutty, garlicky and delivered with a rich, creamy cheese blend for a perfect savory bite. All from 5 simple ingredients!

I love everything bagels and everything bagel seasoning. But I actually love everything bagel seasoning best when it's not on the outside of a bagel. I love it best when it's directly on the cheese. Then, you get the full flavor of the spices and the full crunchiness of the texture. And you get to taste the everything bagel seasoning in each creamy cheesy bite and not just on the top half of a bagel. I feel like Trader Joe's made everything bagel seasoning famous, but it's now found in almost every grocery store. Personally, I love to make my own for the freshest flavor. Homemade everything but the bagel seasoning is an easy mix of six spices. Buy it in the store or make your own, but definitely use it to make a cheeseball. So yummy!

Instructions
Cheeseballs are easy to make with a few helpful steps.
Step 1: Add the shredded white cheddar cheese and the cream cheese to a microwavable bowl. Melt and stir in 30 second increments until fully melted and combined. Approximately 90 seconds.
Step 2: Stir in the rest of the ingredients to the cheese mixture. Add the cheese mixture to a cup lined with plastic wrap and cinch the top together. Refrigerate in the cup for a minimum of 2 hours but preferably overnight.
Step 3: After chilling, remove the plastic wrapped cheeseball from the cup and finish shaping the cheeseball.
Step 4: Add the rest of the everything bagel seasoning to a plate and roll the cheeseball in the seasoning until the cheeseball is completely coated.
Once the cheeseball is fully covered (I do the bottom too!), place it on a serving plate or charcuterie board and surround with bagel slices, crackers or veggies.
Substitutions
- Cheese - I love using sharp white cheddar cheese for everything bagel cheeseballs, but you can easily substitute another type of cheese. You can also use a milder cheese and then add 1 ½ teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce or soy sauce for a little umami kick.
Variations
- Mini cheeseballs - instead of one large cheeseball, you can use this recipe to make tiny, bite-size cheeseballs that are perfect for an appetizer plate or charcuterie boards. Follow all of the instructions until the cheeseball is fully chilled. Once it's fully chilled, you can take pieces of the cheeseball and roll them into smaller balls. If you want them all the same size, use a cookie scoop. You can also add fun little appetizer skewers too.
Storage
Store the everything bagel cheeseball in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
Next Level Tips
- Shred your own cheese! It's cheaper to buy cheese in chunks. Also, chunks of cheese don't have the additives and coatings that pre-shredded cheese does. It only takes 2 minutes to shred your own cheese and it tastes so much better!
- For an umami kick, you can add 1 ½ teaspoons of Worcestershire or soy sauce to this recipe. I love the added flavor, but it does add a brown tint to the cheeseball. I usually only add those sauces with orange cheeses, but the flavor is amazing.
- For a charcuterie board or as an appetizer, can make make tiny bite-size individual cheeseballs with this same recipe. They're super cute with a fun little appetizer skewer too.
FAQ
Absolutely! I recommend making the cheeseball at least a day ahead of time and then rolling it in the everything but the bagel seasoning the day of serving.
