A fall dessert charcuterie board is the sweetest way to celebrate the fall season. Load it up with pumpkin cookies, pumpkin brownies, pumpkin cakes, and round it out with some fruit, nuts and assorted treats for balance. It's festive, cozy and the perfect centerpiece for fall gatherings.

I'll be honest, I still don't totally love the term "dessert charcuterie board." Charcuterie usually means meats and cheeses, right? But the definition seems to be shifting, so I'm going to try and roll with it. And honestly, who's missing the meats and cheeses when you've got mini pumpkin treats and bite sized desserts? And this fall dessert board is exactly what you want from September through November when pumpkin spice cravings are at their peak.

Substitutions
Any of the treats can be substituted with other treats. For this fall charcuterie board, we picked up all of our treats from Trader Joe's because they have so many cute, fall treat options. You could substitute treats from another grocery store or make your own. But, honestly, dessert boards are perfect for when you want a variety of treats but don't have the time to make them all yourself. And I can't speak to grocery store prices, but we got all this for under $35 and had leftovers too!

If you have a round board, it's nice to have a centerpiece. We originally put the golden berries in a little bowl in the center as we only had a small pack of berries. But I also swapped that out with a little pumpkin to show other options.
Storage
Storage tips for leftovers depend on what treats you use. Typically, package treats will store in an airtight container at room temperate or the refrigerator for 3-7 days. Check the package for any refrigeration instructions. Separate treats into like categories when placing them in storage containers.
Next Level Tips
- You don't have to buy the exact same treats that we used. However, I would recommend a minimum of 5 bite size treats plus more smaller filler treats like nuts, pretzels, small fruit or small candies.
- Use tiny sauce cups if you want to contain items or want to keep them separated. Little cups are great for fruits that are sticky or messy too.
- If you want instructions how to make a non-themed dessert charcuterie board, check out my post on how to make a dessert board. That post uses treats that can be found at any time of the year on a rectangular serving platter.
- If you want step by step instructions on how to make a regular charcuterie board, see my how to make a charcuterie board post. We also used Trader Joe's brand products for that board. If you prefer Aldi, we also have an Aldi Charcuterie Board post that you can check out too.

Fall Dessert Charcuterie Board
Ingredients
- 1 small pumpkin spice cake cut into bite size pieces
- 1 package pumpkin blondie brownies
- 1 package pumpkin shaped chocolate mousse pumpkins
- 1 package pumpkin sandwich cookies
- 1 small package mini stroopwafels
- 1 package mini pumpkin spiced pretzels
- 1 package maple brown butter almonds
- 1 small package chocolate covered espresso beans
- 1 small package golden berries
Instructions
- Open all the packages. Cut the pumpkin spice cake into smaller bite size pieces.
- If you want a centerpiece, use the fruit or a small pumpkin and place it in the center of the board.
- Use very small sauce cups to hold any very small items like the chocolate covered espresso beans or the maple brown butter almonds. Place the small cups away from each other on the board. It doesn't have to be symmetrical.
- Next, take the larger cake and brownie pieces, as well as any color pop pieces, and spread them out across the board so that they are not grouped together.
- Then take any cookies or mini stroopwafels and place them in groups of three or four around the board.
- The board should be mostly full by now. Use the mini pretzels to fill in any holes. If there are still holes after the mini pretzels, use more almonds to make the board look more full.
